Delivering Cybersecurity Solutions : March 3 2026 - April 14 2026

Are you seeking innovative solutions to real-world cybersecurity challenges while supporting the development of emerging talent? Collaborate with students from York University’s Cybersecurity program on a project-based experience tailored to your organizational needs. Project Overview Students will work on a customized cybersecurity project designed to address a specific challenge or opportunity within your organization. Possible project topics include, but are not limited to: Developing a Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC). Cyber risk assessment and mitigation strategies. Incident response and disaster recovery planning. Threat intelligence and vulnerability analysis. Security architecture and system hardening. Governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) frameworks. Students will engage with your organization virtually using communication tools of your choice. They are available to contribute up to 39 hours from June 19th to August 14th , ensuring a focused and efficient collaboration.
Fall 2025 - Digital Marketing Analytics Project Experience (Google Ads, Meta Ads & LinkedIn Ads)

WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN ORGANIZATION ALREADY RUNNING PAID MEDIA ADS ON GOOGLE, META AND/OR LINKEDIN. York University’s Certificate in Digital Marketing Analytics is looking for an organization that would allow our student to analyze their paid media campaign data sets for educational purposes. Students will analyze campaign performance, explore cause-and-effect relationship of key variables, and deliver insights back to the organization through reports and dashboards that demonstrate the effectiveness of your Google Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads . Students will need the following for the project to be successful. A clear business problem that is driving the analysis of your paid media campaigns VIEW ONLY access to your social media sites to analyze the data, for the duration of the certificate program. At least two supporting variables…sales targets, “customer” demographics, marketing spend on campaigns, etc. These variables will be used for the cause-and-effect analysis.

Students will apply proven UX methodologies to analyze your target audience, identify key pain points, and create design concepts that enhance usability and overall experience. Throughout the engagement, your team will receive clear, actionable deliverables—from research insights and journey maps to prototypes and high-fidelity designs—tailored to your project’s objectives and grounded in user-centered design principles. This project will progress through the full 3-course certificate, where students will learn and apply in real time.
Doing Culture: Narratives of Cultural Production – Capstone Projects

Students in this upper-level Humanities capstone course bring advanced skills in cultural analysis, public humanities, and community-engaged research. Trained in grant procurement and AI fluency, these creative young scholars and talented communicators can design and deliver projects with cultural organizations, conduct organizational assessments, and create tailored research outputs aligned with organizational missions and community needs with critical social justice values.
