Bio

Fourth year BSc Math student with concentrations in Computer Science and Data Science at the University of British Columbia. My work spans software engineering, data analysis, and applied machine learning, with a strong focus on health-tech and real-world problem solving.

Currently, I am a Full Stack Android Developer at Salyx Medical, where I build and maintain applications for elderly care homes. My work includes designing accessible UIs with Jetpack Compose, integrating BLE for real-time health monitoring, and connecting secure backend services through Retrofit and REST APIs. Alongside this, I also contribute to Subbots, UBC's Autonomous Submersible Design Team, where Iโ€™ve modularized Python-based sound localization pipelines and optimized real-time filtering to support submersible navigation and worked on updating ROS2 dependencies across different versions of Linux.

My technical toolkit includes Python, Kotlin, Java, R, SQL, and Rust, as well as frameworks such as React, Node.js, and TensorFlow. I have built projects ranging from productivity apps like FinanciallyFit, a reverse billing system that incentivizes consistency at the gym, to simulations and data science projects like pulsar classification, diabetes prediction, and empirical finance research.

I thrive on tackling challenging problems, whether through designing scalable software architectures, optimizing data pipelines, or creating intuitive user experiences. With a balance of engineering skills and analytical rigor, I am committed to building impactful technologies that connect data, people, and solutions.

Loki Project

The purpose of this project is to develop a new product (Loki), which would be a a react native mobile app with a nodejs backend both written in typescript. The app should allow consumers to find ratings /reviews /book /pay for service providers in their area. It should also have a geolocation based map which each service provider would show up based on the filters they are looking for such as babysitters /barbers /car mechanics /etc.

Loki Design Project

The main goal of this project is to design the mobile application for the SP411 App using Figma. The SP411 app is meant for users to find/book/pay/review service providers through a geo location based map view! Ex: If I was looking for a car service I might go on the app and filter to the car mechanics subsection and my map would be fillded with car mechanics nearby so I can see the ratings, reviews, costs, and contact information for each of these mechanics!
